For residents that continue to work in Chicago, public transportation provides an easy commute through the Metra train system. These stops include Springinsguth Road, south of Irving Park Road, Irving Park Road, east of Roselle Road and Northwest Highway, west of Plum Grove Road.

Public transportation is also provided throughout the Schaumburg area through PACE Suburban Bus Service on route 602, and the Woodfield Trolley, providing transportation to and from Woodfield Mall.
